Thanks for taking a moment with us. We know that in busy lives like yours, it’s hard to have the time to check out a new church. So we’ll give you a quick snapshot: We’re casual, but we’re serious about our faith. Our goal is to be authentic 24/7. That’s why we have messages that deal with real life issues. Stuff that makes sense throughout the week, not just on Sunday. From singles to families, from young to old, we provide a safe atmosphere for discovering the true meaning of life.
Adults meet on Sundays (we have three identical services) while kids have their own age-specific programs that are so good your children will be begging to return every week. Guaranteed. Classes range from nursery through elementary.
Throughout the week there are also many groups and classes, one of which is sure to appeal to you. These provide opportunities for growth, sharing and friendship. But most of all we just want you to feel welcomed. God has done some great things in our lives. He can do that for you too. Feel free to contact us at any time. We’re here for you.
Because children are important to you...they are important to us. And that's why we've created a safe, encouraging place where kids of all ages can gather, interact and learn valuable truths that will serve them well throughout their lifetime. With age-appropriate classes, lessons and programs designed to impact every child, Lighthouse is committed to helping you raise your child to be a strong, secure young adult with an appreciation for their parents, peers and their Creator.
We also believe that church can be fun. That’s why we dedicate time, energy and resources to our kids and invest in their experience at Lighthouse. We teach Bible lessons that are relevant to today's children along with games, music, drama, puppets and video. You and your children are invited to check out our programs during either of our Sunday services and experience our commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation that children can build their lives on.
Children's programs are held in age-designated classrooms at 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM and 1:00 PM during the adult services. They are divided into the following categories.
Get ready to J.A.M.! That stands for Jesus and Me Youth Ministries and it is designed to provide a fun, safe and caring environment where you can gather in fellowship, learn about God, and experience the awesome power of Jesus Christ. Here you can open up and share what you are feeling and what are your dreams. Surround yourself with people who care about you inside and out.
The JAM meets Wednesday nights at Lighthouse 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
REFINED 9 12 is a high-energy, outgoing ministry for high school students. REFINED 9 12 exists to help students understand and affirm Christian living through Biblical exploration, glorifying God through worship, community service, music, sports, special events and building positive friendships. If you are in high school we would love to have you join us! Hang out with us as we have fun, connect, serve and learn more about God and the wonderful plans he has for our lives.
REFINED 9 12 meets in the Lighthouse’s Faith Lounge Wednesday nights 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Service, at the church and in the community, is one of the cornerstones of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and we believe that every Christian is called to participate in service. To make that possible, we offer a variety of ministry opportunities for our members to get involved in both the local church where we worship and in the neighborhoods where we live. By using their God-given gifts and talents, our members contribute in making our church and Chula Vista a better place. Jesus set the example for us all when he said: "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all" (Mark 9:35).
